START HERE

• Open Microsoft Outlook Express.
• From the menu bar, click on "Tools" then "Accounts".

The following step corresponds to the above image. To configure Outlook Express to read your e-mail, click on the "Add" button, then click on "Mail".

The following steps correspond to the above image. Type in your name as you want it to appear in outgoing e-mails (John Smith, The Smith Family). Click on the "Next" button.

The following steps correspond to the above image. Enter your e-mail address in the box labeled "E-mail address:" (username@psnw.com). Click on the "Next" button.

The following steps correspond to the above image. "POP3" should be selected as the incoming mail server. The "Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server:" should be mailhost.psnw.com The "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:" should be mailhost.psnw.com Click on the "Next" button.

The following steps correspond to the above image. For the "Account name:", enter your full e-mail address. Enter your password in the box labeled "Password". Check the box labeled "Remember password" to save the password. The box labeled "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) should be unchecked. Click on the "Next" button.

• Click on the "Finish" button.
• To configure Outlook Express to read newsgroups, click on the "Add" button, then click on "News".

The following steps correspond to the above image. Type in your name, as you want it to appear in newsgroup posts (John Smith, The Smith Family). Click on the "Next" button.

The following steps correspond to the above image. In the box labeled "E-mail address:" enter your e-mail address (username@psnw.com). Click on the "Next" button.

The following steps correspond to the above image. In the box labeled "News (NNTP) server:" enter news.psnw.com Click on the "Next" button.

The following steps correspond to the above image. Contact psnw.com for the user name and password for the news server and enter them in the appropriate boxes. The box labeled, "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)" should be unchecked. Click on the "Next" button.

• Click on the "Finish" button.
• Click on the "Close" button.
